A Day In Amsterdam
At the end of April, I found myself in Amsterdam, planning to go to the World Press Photo exhibition in the Nieuwe Kerk. I go most years, and the images are usually amazing although, this year it was a little disappointing. Good, as always, but the images were stronger in previous years (imho).
I was a lot keener to see the demo that was going on outside on the Dam. There's usually a demo on every weekend in Amsterdam - there's a lot to complain about - and this one was the usual mix of anti-Vax, anti-government and anti, well, everything. It was a nice, good-humoured crowd though (they're not always) so I left my son near the door at H&M and made my way through the crowds. I took quite a few images, of which these are my favourites.
